Electric Vehicle incentive
Eligible Uber Pro drivers with Diamond status whose driver profile city is New York City or a city in Massachusetts may qualify for Uber’s $4,000 Go Electric incentive. To qualify, you must have at least 750 ride trips completed in the prior 90 days from application, switch to an EV, and complete 100 eligible rides by December 31, 2026. Eligible drivers must apply to the incentive program using this survey before switching to or adding a qualifying EV to their profile. Check below for additional eligibility requirements.*
*Offer available only to Uber Pro drivers with Diamond status whose driver profile city is New York City or cities in Massachusetts, who have completed at least 750 rideshare trips in the 90 days immediately preceding their application, and who have never had an electric vehicle on their driver profile. Eligible drivers must apply to the incentive program using this survey before switching to or adding a qualifying EV to their profile. Uber will confirm eligibility within 3 weeks via email. Drivers must meet all eligibility requirements to qualify. The incentive is first-come, first-served for the first 2,500 drivers, ordered by application submission time. After receiving eligibility confirmation, the driver must switch to or add a qualifying EV within 90 days. A qualifying EV is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) personally owned or leased by the applying driver in their own name. Fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), hybrid vehicles, and plug-in hybrid vehicles are not eligible. Rental EVs do not qualify. Vehicles owned or leased by a fleet, rental company, another driver, or an entity, and vehicles shared, sublet, or transferred between drivers, do not qualify. Only EVs added to the driver profile for the first time after eligibility confirmation will qualify. Each vehicle may be used to earn this incentive once. A vehicle whose VIN has previously been used, or is concurrently being used, by any driver to apply for, qualify for, or earn this incentive is not eligible, regardless of any change in ownership, registration, lessee, or driver. Uber may require proof of ownership or of a personal lease in the applicant’s name (including title, registration, lease agreement, or insurance) before or after payment. Only one incentive per driver, per account, and per vehicle. Once eligibility is confirmed, drivers must complete 100 qualifying trips by December 31, 2026. Qualifying trips are rideshare trips completed on the Uber platform in the qualifying EV. Uber Eats, Uber Connect, and other delivery rips are not eligible. Canceled rides do not count. Trips completed in any vehicle other than the qualifying EV, or after the qualifying EV is removed from the driver profile, do not count. Trips begin counting shortly after the first qualifying EV trip upon confirmed enrollment in the program (more information will be provided in the confirmation email). In rare cases, due to a short lag in enrollment verification, a driver may need to complete slightly more than 100 total trips to satisfy the requirement. The driver must remain in good standing, retain Uber Pro Diamond status, and keep the qualifying EV on their driver profile through the date of payment. The one-time $4,000 incentive will be credited to the driver’s account upon completion of all criteria. Payments are typically processed in 15 days but may take longer in some cases. This incentive is redeemable one time only. Once the funds are exhausted, no additional incentives will be paid, even if a driver meets the program criteria. Uber may void an application or claim and remove a driver from the program if it determines the driver submitted inaccurate or misleading information, used another person’s account or vehicle, or engaged in trip manipulation or other activity intended to circumvent these terms. Uber reserves the right to (1) withhold or deduct payments in the event of error, suspected fraud, illegality, or violation of the driver terms or these terms, (2) change the trip requirements, incentive payouts, or other program details at any time and without notice, and (3) disqualify a vehicle or driver at any time that does not meet the eligibility requirements. Offer is limited time only, while supplies last, and subject to change in Uber’s sole discretion.
